Business Central Training That Closes the Gaps Your Implementation Left Behind
It’s never too late to train your team properly.
ERP Werx provides Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central training for Australian businesses. Every program is tailored and role-based, delivered face to face or online, and built on your own processes and data. We train teams before go-live, retrain teams that missed out the first time, and support them afterwards so the system keeps working the way it should.
Already live, but your team still isn’t confident? That’s common when training was squeezed at implementation, or the partner didn’t have the resources to do it properly. The result is frustrated staff, avoidable mistakes and a system people learn to dislike. It can be fixed. Well-trained teams make fewer mistakes, manage more themselves and cost less to support over time.
No sales deck. No juniors. We’ll tell you what your team needs, including when the problem isn’t training.
40 years in business. Business Central specialists since 1997. We fix what others can’t.

How our Business Central training works
Every program is built around your people, not a generic course.
- 1
Find the gaps
We talk with managers and key users to find where people get stuck, where mistakes keep happening and which roles need what.
- 2
Build the program
We tailor a program around your roles, processes and data, choose face to face, online or a mix, and agree a fixed cost before training starts.
- 3
Train, then support
Hands-on, role-based sessions on real tasks. Afterwards, our local team is there for questions as people put it into practice.
What Business Central training covers
We train each role on the parts of Business Central it actually uses.
Finance and month-end
General ledger, payables, receivables, bank reconciliation, GST and a faster, cleaner month-end close.
Sales and purchasing
Quotes, orders, invoicing, purchase orders and approvals, from first entry to final posting.
Inventory and warehouse
Items, locations, stock movements, counts and fulfilment, so stock levels can be trusted.
Reporting and analysis
Built-in reports, Excel and Power BI, so people find answers without exporting everything to spreadsheets.
Copilot and new features
What’s changed in each release, and how to use the Copilot features that are live in Australia.
Administration and setup
Users, permissions, workflows and approvals, so you can manage day-to-day changes yourselves.
Signs your team needs Business Central training
Where under-trained teams usually struggle:
- The same mistakes keep happening, and keep needing to be fixed.
- Work moves back into spreadsheets because the system feels too hard.
- Only one person knows how to run key processes.
- New starters learn from whoever sits next to them.
- Month-end takes longer than it should.
- Business Central gets blamed for problems training would solve.
What good training changes
- Fewer mistakes, and less time spent fixing them.
- People confident in their own roles and tasks.
- Less reliance on one key person, or on your partner.
- Lower support costs over the long term.
- Better use of features you already pay for.
- A team that manages day to day on its own.
Our promise: When Business Central gets difficult, we’ll tell you the truth and help you find a way through.
Is it the training, or the system?
Sometimes people struggle because Business Central was set up wrong, not because they weren’t trained. More training won’t fix that. We’ll tell you straight, and help you stabilise the system first.

What Business Central training does ERP Werx offer?
ERP Werx offers tailored, role-based Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central training for Australian businesses. That includes go-live training as part of an implementation, retraining for teams that were under-trained the first time, and refresher and new-starter training. Sessions run face to face or online, using your own processes and data.
Can you train our team if another partner implemented Business Central?
Yes. Many of the teams we train were implemented by another partner and didn’t get the training they needed. It’s never too late. We find where people are getting stuck and build a program around those gaps. If the real problem is how the system was set up, we’ll tell you.
Is Business Central training face to face or online?
Either, or a mix of both. When we build your program, we recommend the format that suits your team, your locations and the topics being covered.
How much does Business Central training cost?
It depends on how many people, roles and topics need covering. We tailor a program and agree a fixed cost before training starts, so there are no surprises. For new implementations, training is included in our fixed-price implementation proposal.
Do you train on our own processes and data?
Yes. Training is role-based and built on your own processes and data, so people practise the tasks they do every day rather than working through a generic demo.
How long does Business Central training take?
It depends on the number of people, roles and areas involved. We set out the sessions and timing in your program before you commit, so you know what to expect.
Is training included in a fixed-price Business Central implementation?
Yes. Training and post go-live support are included in the proposal for a fixed-price Business Central implementation, so your team is ready before go-live, not after.
Do you provide Business Central support after training?
Yes. Our local team in Melbourne and Sydney supports Business Central customers after training and after go-live. Tell us what ongoing support you need when we scope your program.
Will training fix a Business Central system that isn’t working?
Only if the problem is how people use it. If the problem is how Business Central was set up, configured or customised, more training won’t fix it. We’ll tell you which it is, and our Business Central Rescue & Recovery service can stabilise the system first.
